Switch enrola to dark mode

Dark mode shows enrola's pages in light text on a dark background. Some people find it easier on the eyes. Anyone can turn it on, and it only changes what you see.

Turn dark mode on or off

  1. Select the moon button in the header, to the left of your name.
  2. enrola switches to dark mode straight away.
  3. To go back, select the sun button in the same place.

On a phone, open the menu button (three lines) first. The moon or sun button is in that menu.

The moon button in the header, to the left of the user menu, which is open to show Knowledge base, Edit user and Log out.

What it changes

  • Every staff page in enrola, including lists, records, Settings, dialogs, the calendar and the text editor.
  • Your organisation's colour still marks the main buttons and the current menu. In dark mode enrola lightens it just enough to read on the dark background, keeping its hue.

What it doesn't change

  • The sign-in pages, your job board, application forms and applicant profiles stay light.
  • Emails stay light.
  • Other people's view of enrola. Dark mode is a personal choice.

Good to know

  • enrola remembers your choice in the browser you used, for a year. It isn't saved to your account, so on another computer, phone or browser you turn it on there too.
  • If you clear your browser's cookies, enrola goes back to the light look.
