Using enrola on a phone or tablet

You can use enrola in the web browser on a phone or tablet. There is no app to install. Sign in at the same address as on a computer. This article explains what looks different on a small screen.

Note. You can be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in on your phone signs you out on your computer. See Why was I signed out?

The menu

On a phone or a narrow tablet screen, the menus fold into the menu button (three lines) at the top right. Select it to open Opportunities, Applications, Learners, Employers and Settings. The dark mode button and your name are in the same menu.

On a small screen the header scrolls away as you move down the page, so scroll back to the top to reach it.

Lists

The Applications list on a phone, with the Actions button showing how many are selected and the table scrolling sideways.

  • Lists keep every column. Each record stays on one line, and the table scrolls sideways inside its box. A fade at the edge shows there is more to see.
  • The list's selection buttons and actions fold into one Actions button, which shows how many records you have ticked, such as "2 selected". Select it to open Select all, Deselect all, With selected… and the other actions. They sit two to a row.

This works on the Applications (live and archived), Opportunities, Employers, Contacts and Learners lists.

Record pages

  • The buttons at the top of a record wrap onto more than one line, so they all fit.
  • To show, hide or reorder panels, use Edit page layout and Edit panels, and move panels with the up and down arrows. See Show, hide and reorder panels on a record.
  • The path at the top of the page is shortened with "…", and "All changes saved." appears on its own line.

Settings

On a small screen, the Settings sidebar folds into a Settings button above the page. It shows the page you are on. Select it to open the list of settings pages.

Applicant profiles

On a phone, the tables in an applicant profile, such as qualifications and results, scroll sideways inside their box. The PDF of the profile prints them in full.

For your applicants

Your job board and application forms work on phones too. When applicants fill in a date on a phone, they use their phone's own date picker.
