Coming soon: send employers an advert-style vacancy form
Coming soon. This feature is planned and not yet in enrola. What you see when it arrives may differ from this description. We will update this article when it is released.
Today, Request more info sends an employer a plain list of fields. The planned Send vacancy form gives them a form laid out like the advert, with a live preview, and makes it quicker for you to take their answers.
What will change
A clearer name
Request more info on an Opportunity will be called Send vacancy form. The notices on the Opportunity will say where things stand, for example "Vacancy form sent. Waiting for the employer to complete it." and, once they reply, "The employer has completed the vacancy form."
More fields to ask for
You will be able to ask the employer for more of the vacancy, including:
- the title and the minimum and maximum salary;
- the details in the NAS panel for Find an apprenticeship (shown as NAS in enrola), such as wage type, fixed yearly wage, additional pay information, hours per week and working week.
The page where you choose fields will have Select all and Deselect all, and will count how many fields you've chosen.
Choose who receives it
The send step will suggest the employer's default contact and let you change the address. An employer will no longer need a default contact before you can send the form.
A form that looks like the advert
The employer's form will be grouped into sections:
- About the vacancy
- Pay and hours
- Training and what comes next
- Who you’re looking for
- About your company
- Other details, for anything else you asked for
An Advert preview beside the form will update as the employer types. When they send it, they will see "We’ve received your vacancy details and will check them before the advert goes live."
Accept answers one by one
Instead of the two-column merge page, you will see each answer with an Accept button, plus Accept all. You will be able to edit an answer before you accept it. Only the answers you accept will change the Opportunity; everything else stays as it is.
What stays the same
- You still send the form from the Opportunity, and the employer still fills it in from a link in an email.
- Nothing reaches the Opportunity, or any job board, until you accept it.
- Requests for more information from applicants keep their current form and review page. Their field chooser gains Select all and Deselect all too.
What you might need to do
Nothing yet. When it arrives, check that your employers' default contacts are the right people, because the send step will suggest them first.
