Show, hide and reorder panels on a record

Application, Opportunity and Employer pages are made of panels, such as Summary, Personal information or Posting Control. You can choose which panels you see and the order they come in. Your choice is yours alone: it doesn't change anyone else's pages.

Show, hide or reorder panels

  1. Open an Application, Opportunity or Employer.
  2. At the top right of the record, switch on Edit page layout.
  3. Select Edit panels. A side panel opens with two lists: Visible Panels and Hidden Panels.
  4. Make your changes:
    • To hide a panel, select − beside it in Visible Panels.
    • To show a panel, select + beside it in Hidden Panels. Use the Search box to find one.
    • To move a panel, select its up or down arrow. With a mouse, you can also drag it.
  5. Close the side panel. enrola saves your layout when it closes.
  6. Switch off Edit page layout to go back to editing the record.

The Edit panels side panel with the Visible Panels list, each panel with up and down arrows and a minus button, and the Hidden Panels list with a search box.

Your layout applies to every record of that kind. For example, a panel you hide on one Application is hidden on all Applications for you.

Note. While Edit page layout is on, the record's fields can't be edited. Switch it off when you have finished arranging panels.

Fold a panel away

You don't need Edit page layout to fold a panel. Select the small − beside a panel's title to fold it, and + to open it again. enrola remembers which panels you have folded.

On a phone

Edit page layout and Edit panels work the same way on a phone or tablet. On a small screen:

  • the side panel shows Visible Panels first and Hidden Panels below it, and scrolls as a whole
  • use the up and down arrows to move panels, because dragging doesn't work by touch

Edit panels on a phone, with Visible Panels above Hidden Panels and arrows to move each panel.

Good to know

  • New panels that an Admin adds in Settings → Form fields start in Hidden Panels. Add them with + if you want to see them. See Add your own fields and panels.
  • The order of fields inside a panel is set for the whole organisation by an Admin. See Arrange fields on a record.
  • Learner pages don't have Edit page layout.
