Forgotten your password? Choose a new one

If you have forgotten your password, you can ask enrola to email you a link to choose a new one. enrola never sends a password by email.

Ask for a reset link

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?
  2. In Email, enter the email address you sign in with.
  3. Select Email me a reset link.

enrola shows "Check your email". If an account exists for that address, an email called "enrola: reset your password" arrives with a link in it. enrola shows the same page whether or not the address has an account, so the page can't be used to find out who has one.

The Forgotten your password page with the Email field and the Email me a reset link button.

Choose your new password

  1. Open the link in the email within 1 hour.
  2. In New password, type your new password.
  3. Type it again in Repeat new password.
  4. Select Update password.

enrola shows "Password updated". Select Log in and sign in with your new password.

Your password must have:

  • at least 6 characters
  • at least one letter
  • at least one number

Change your password while you are signed in

If you know your current password and want to change it:

  1. Select your first name at the top right, then Edit user.
  2. In Current password, type your current password.
  3. Type the new password in New Password and again in Repeat new password.
  4. Select Save.

Important. Changing your password signs you out of enrola everywhere, including the browser you used. Sign in again with your new password. The sign-in page may say your account was used to sign in on another device; that is expected after a password change.

When an Admin resets your password

An Admin can select Reset password on your user page. Your old password stops working straight away and you are signed out everywhere. You get an email called "enrola: choose a new password" with a Choose a new password button. That link works for 1 hour.

Troubleshooting

What you see What to do
"This link is no longer valid" The link is more than 1 hour old. Select Request a new link and use the new email.
A "Not Found" page The link has already been used, or you asked for a newer one. Only the most recent link works. Ask for a new link.
No email arrives Check your spam or junk folder, and check that you typed the address your account uses. If it still doesn't arrive, ask an Admin in your organisation to check your email address on your user page.
"Passwords must match." The two passwords you typed are different. Type them again.
"Password must have at least one number" or "…one letter" Add a number or a letter to your password.
