Show your Opportunities on Indeed

enrola sends vacancies to Indeed through a feed: a list of Opportunities that Indeed collects on its own schedule. When you post an Opportunity to Indeed, enrola adds it to the feed, and Indeed picks it up. Users, Admins and Team Owners can post.

Before you post

Indeed needs these details. enrola checks them when you tick Indeed in Posting Control.

Field Panel
Title Summary
Employer Summary
Main Description Description
Advert Start Date Opportunity info
A workplace address Location
Type of employment: Full-time or Part-time Indeed

The Indeed panel appears on the Opportunity, after Posting Control, once Indeed is one of your organisation's job boards.

Post the Opportunity

  1. Open the Opportunity and scroll to Posting Control.
  2. Tick Indeed and fix anything listed under it.
  3. Select Post.

The posting log shows the post as Waiting. That's expected: Indeed collects new posts within 24 hours. The status changes to Success once Indeed has collected the feed.

What Indeed shows

Each Opportunity in the feed carries:

  • the title, the employer's name and the advert start date;
  • the town, county, country and postcode;
  • the salary, including the full range if you entered a minimum and a maximum;
  • the type of employment;
  • a description built from the Opportunity: salary, duration and closing date, then the short and main descriptions, entry requirements, training to be provided, things to consider, skills required and future prospects, and, for apprenticeships, the hours, working week and standard from the NAS panel.

Indeed's link opens the vacancy's page in enrola. Applicants select Apply now and fill in your enrola application form, and their Applications record Indeed as the job board.

Send changes

Edits aren't sent on their own. After changing a posted Opportunity, select Update beside Indeed in Posting Control. Indeed picks up the change the next time it collects the feed.

Take an Opportunity off Indeed

  1. In Posting Control, select Delete beside Indeed.

The log shows Delete as Waiting. enrola leaves the Opportunity out of the feed from then on, and Indeed removes it when it next collects the feed.

The feed also leaves out an Opportunity once its Advert Closing Date has passed, and any Opportunity without an employer.

Good to know

  • If the Opportunity has an Application Redirect, Indeed's link sends applicants to that address and enrola can't track those applications.
  • If Indeed isn't in Posting Control, a Team Owner can add it in Settings → Integrations by moving it to Visible Integrations. If it isn't listed there, contact support at support@enrola.co.uk.
