Choose what applicant profiles show

You decide which of an applicant's details appear on the profiles your team sends to employers. The choice is one setting for your whole organisation. You need to be an Admin or above.

Choose the fields

  1. Go to Settings → Applicant profiles. The page says: "What employers see on the applicant profiles you send them. Tick a field to show it."
  2. The fields are grouped by the panel they belong to on the Application, such as Personal information, Qualifications and Work history/experience. Your own fields are listed in their panels too.
  3. Tick each field you want profiles to show. Untick the ones you don't.
  4. Select Apply changes.

enrola confirms "Fields were successfully added/removed".

Settings → Applicant profiles, with fields grouped by panel, some ticked, the Apply changes button and the Applicant Profile order box below.

Put the fields in order

Below the field list, the Applicant Profile box lists the fields you have ticked, in the order profiles show them.

  • Drag a field by its handle to move it, or use its up and down arrows.
  • enrola saves the new order straight away.

Important. Selecting Apply changes resets the order. Choose your fields first, then set the order, and check it again whenever you add or remove a field.

How the profile lays out your fields

  • Name heads the profile, when the person sharing leaves the name in.
  • Personal fields, such as date of birth and nationality, and contact fields, such as email and address, are grouped in an Applicant details box.
  • Qualifications shows as a table of subject, level, grade, date achieved and whether the result is final or provisional.
  • Initial assessment results show as a table. See See BKSB, Selectahead and My Skills Forward results.
  • Work history shows each job with its dates and duties.
  • Every other field shows as its own box, headed by its label. Empty fields are left out.

Profiles never name the vacancy or its Employer.

How this works with the include options

When your team shares a profile, they can leave out the name, personal details or contact details. Those options only remove fields you have ticked here. They can't add a field you haven't. See Share an applicant profile with an employer.

Good to know

  • Changes apply to every profile, including links already sent. A profile shows your current settings each time it is opened.
  • Think about which fields are for employers. Some, such as Notes, Do you have criminal convictions? or the LLDD questions, may be internal or sensitive.
  • Timeline notes are never on profiles. The Notes box is, if you tick it. See Add a note to an Application.
  • To add a field of your own, see Add your own fields and panels.
