Connect enrola to Find an apprenticeship (NAS)
Find an apprenticeship (shown as NAS in enrola) is the government's service for apprenticeship vacancies. To post to it, enrola needs your organisation's Recruitment API key and your UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN). A Team Owner adds the key; an Admin can add the UKPRN.
What you need
- A Recruitment API key from the Recruitment APIs page of your Apprenticeship Service account.
- Your organisation's UKPRN.
Use a live key. A sandbox key is for testing and doesn't work on the live enrola site.
Add your Recruitment API key
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- In the Credentials panel, find NAS.
- Paste the key into Recruitment API key.
- Click outside the field. enrola saves it and shows All changes saved.
The key is hidden as you type. Select the eye button beside the field to show it and check it.
Add your UKPRN
- Open Settings → Organisation details.
- Enter your number in UKPRN.
enrola sends the UKPRN with every post. It also uses it to fetch the course type of each apprenticeship standard you deliver, which Find an apprenticeship needs.
Show NAS in Posting Control
- In Settings → Integrations, scroll to the Integrations section.
- If NAS is under Hidden Integrations, select its arrow to move it to Visible Integrations.
NAS now appears in Posting Control on every Opportunity.
Bring in your employers and course types
Find an apprenticeship only accepts a vacancy for an employer your account can post for. enrola fetches that list of employers, and the course type of each standard, every hour. After adding your key you can fetch them straight away: open any Opportunity and select Refresh from NAS in the NAS panel. See Refresh standards and courses from NAS.
What enrola sends, and what it doesn't
enrola creates the vacancy on Find an apprenticeship and records the result in the Opportunity's posting log. Applicants who find it there apply on your enrola application form, and their Applications show NAS as the job board.
Important. enrola doesn't send later changes or closures. Update and Delete in Posting Control don't change the vacancy on Find an apprenticeship, and nor does enrola archiving or filling the Opportunity. Make changes and close the vacancy in your Apprenticeship Service account.
Find an apprenticeship reviews every advert before it goes live. A Success in the posting log means it accepted the vacancy for review.
Troubleshooting
