Find your way around an Employer record
An Employer record keeps everything about an employer you work with: its details, levy status, documents, contacts, activities and Opportunities. Everyone can open Employer records. Read Only users can look but not change anything.
To open one, go to Employers → Employers and select the employer's name.

enrola saves each change as you make it. There is no Save button on the record.
The top of the page
- Employer Name: select the name, or its pencil, to change it.
- Employer label: coloured labels such as Priority or Do not contact. Admins manage the list in Settings → Labels.
- Edit page layout: shows, hides and reorders panels. See Show, hide and reorder panels.
- Request more info, Request ELI and Send feedback survey: emails to the employer (see below).
If the employer has no main contact, a red bar says Employer has no default contact yet. Select Add a contact to add one. See Add and manage employer contacts.

If you can't see a panel, turn on Edit page layout and show it.
Emails you can send from the record
Each button opens an email to the employer's main contact, which you can edit before you send it. The buttons are greyed out until the employer has at least one Assigned Supervisor and a main contact.
| Button | What the employer gets |
|---|---|
| Request more info | A link to a form with the fields you tick. You can mark fields as required and change their labels. What the employer enters goes straight into the Employer record. |
| Request ELI | A link to upload their liability insurance certificate and its expiry date. |
| Send feedback survey | A link to a short survey about working with you. The button stays greyed out while a survey is waiting for an answer. |
When the employer replies, enrola emails the Assigned Supervisor (for a feedback survey, the person who sent it). Each link works once: after the employer has replied, it says their answers have already been sent. Feedback survey links also stop working after 30 days.
You can change the email text and use merge tags in it. See Merge tags in employer emails and requests.
Delete an Employer
On the Employers list, select Delete on the employer's row, then Yes.
Warning. Deleting an Employer also deletes its contacts and all their activities. Its Opportunities stay, but no longer have an employer. You cannot undo this in enrola.
