Use the live and archived Applications lists

The Applications list shows every Application to your organisation's Opportunities. This article explains the live and archived lists, the Opportunity dropdowns, columns and paging. Anyone who can sign in can view the list; changing columns and selecting rows needs the User role or above.

The live Applications list, with the Opportunity type dropdown, the search bar, the With selected... menu and the table of applicants.

Open the list

  1. In the header, select Applications.
  2. Select Live for current Applications, or Archived for Applications you have archived.

The live list opens with the newest Applications first.

Narrow the list to an Opportunity type and Opportunity

  1. Choose a type in Opportunity type, such as Apprenticeship. The list updates straight away.
  2. A second dropdown, Opportunity, appears. Choose one Opportunity from it.

Each Opportunity is listed as its title, its Employer and its start date. Filled Opportunities are not in the dropdown. If your organisation has only one Opportunity type, it is already chosen.

Choosing a type and an Opportunity also unlocks some bulk actions. For example, changing status in bulk needs a type, and Send Profiles needs an Opportunity. See Act on several Applications at once.

To search by applicant, Opportunity or Employer, use Search applications. For filters and saved searches, see Search a list and use the filter bar.

Choosing an Opportunity type and an Opportunity, ticking applicants and opening the With selected... menu.

Choose your columns

  1. Select Edit columns, at the right-hand end of the column headings.
  2. The Edit columns panel opens with Visible columns on the left and Available columns on the right.
  3. Use the arrow beside a column to move it between the two lists, or drag it. Drag columns within Visible columns to change their order. The Search box finds an available column by name.
  4. Close the panel. The list redraws with your columns.

Your columns are yours alone; they don't change anyone else's list.

Change how many show per page

The list shows 20 Applications a page. Below the table:

  • Choose 20, 50, 100 or 200 results per page. enrola keeps your choice until you sign out.
  • The count shows how many Applications match, such as "66 results (page 1 of 4)".
  • Use the page numbers and arrows to move between pages.

Buttons on each row

Warning. Deleting an Application cannot be undone. To take an Application out of the live list but keep it, archive it instead. See Archive and restore Applications.

How the archived list differs

The archived list works like the live list, with these differences:

  • There is no Opportunity type dropdown and no map.
  • Course Title shows the Opportunity the Application was for when it was archived.
  • Employer columns are not shown.
  • With selected... offers Move to Live and Delete selected.
